Metro Art Presents The Makers | Artist Conversation #1 Todd Gray, Ken Gonzales-day And Phung Huynh

Union Station Historic Ticketing Hall

August 25, 7:00 - 8:30pm

As Metro grows, so does its art collection. Metro artists play a major role in placemaking, helping to define Los Angeles neighborhoods through artworks that are thoughtfully integrated within stations, on trains and buses throughout greater LA. The event is hosted in conjunction with an exhibition at Union Station, The Makers: featuring portraits by artist Todd Gray. This special series of conversations provides a unique opportunity to learn about the people behind the 150+ artworks in the fast-growing Metro system. Hear their stories and learn about their concepts and processes.

*Special exhibition preview (6:30-6:40pm) – Prior to the Artist Conversation Todd Gray will provide an introduction to the exhibition, then guests may view it at their own pace (meet between Tracks 10A & 11A promptly at 6:30pm)

Upcoming artist conversations: September 21 & October 20. Stay tuned!
