Alissa Walker to introduce the film

Set in futuristic Los Angeles, this science fiction drama follows a lonely writer who develops a romantic relationship with an operating system equipped with artificial intelligence. Starring Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams and Scarlett Johansson.

This series highlights Los Angeles, a capital of Science Fiction, renowned for being an inspiration and backdrop for many fundamental works within the genre. “Her” features scenes shot within the (fantastically reimagined) Metro transit system.

We are pleased to welcome Alissa Walker, Los Angeles based Urbanism Editor at Curbed, to introduce the film.
