Celebrating the natural beauty of Los Angeles’s favorable geographic position, this artwork includes two 55-foot-long mosaics at the tops of the east-west facing walls and a mosaic on the central skylight located at the base of stairs leading to platform. The facing murals depict the Santa Monica sunset to the west and the San Bernardino Mountains to the east, mirroring the orientation of the walls they adorn.
