The hand-painted ceramic tiles on the underside of the bus plaza’s pedestrian bridge portray a tree canopy populated with birds and animals that may have once inhabited the area. Contributing to the tranquility of this shady seating area is a whimsical depiction of a person’s dangling feet and cast bronze tree trunks that extend from either side of the bridge, which is inlaid with relief tiles depicting native wildlife.
